I feel sorry for some of you guys, I run a commodore borg warner diff, king springs leaves and even lowering blocks with a CA18 and although I'm not making big power (140kw) I have never had it tramp at all, no matter what I do.

I just meant that some people seem to be suffering from bad tramp with less power than what I have. It must be annoying. I'm not having a go at anyone.

going by what the hotrods and hemis link said, do the caltracs mount to the rear shackle or still the front like the others?
if it mounts to the front it would not put pressure on the leaf under load, it would actually take pressure off the leaf.. correct?

goes to front shackle
as torque is applied leaf twists up at the front down at back
caltrac applies pressure down on the leaf negating the twist
takes a few reads to get it

Do you mean the mount onto the leafs? Mine is pretty much the same as the standard datsun mount... Not quite as tall as the one pictured
