Dazza, nah mate, I can tell that! The problem is, I bought a set of (what I thought to be) R31 Radius rods off a member on here and they are 371 (ish) mm from the more forward hole to the beginning of the thread. The datsun 1200 ones are about 320mm.

My understanding was that the r31 parts should be shorter? is this correct? currently they do not fit and will need to be modified to be an appropriate length.

The reason I ask is because, if (and I do mean if!) I have been sold the wrong part then oh well, I will buy the correct part. I just want to know if the rod I have is supposed to be modified to fit or if it is simply wrong.

s13 struts cut down with coilovers fitted.
s13 lower control arms
s13 outer tie rods (standard tie rod link needs rethreading to suit)
r31 radius rods
s13 knuckles
any brakes that fit the s13 eg s13, r32 ect ect

how much did you have to shorten your struts? Do you think you can get away with aftermarket s13 coilovers and wind them down

Got S13 rims [+40 offset] on 120y strut with 1600 hubs + s13 discs = 12mm increase in track ,ie still legal & light weight.

My friend Nathan has just done this conversion to his R30, he found he has lost a a fair bit of steering lock. He'll fix that but what's other peoples experience with this issue?
