is it possible to bore out an A12 engine so it fit A15 pistons..

If i do this and leave the 1200cc crank, should the engine rev close to 10,00rpm. I'm tryin to get it work on my datsun since i have dun it wid my 1300cc crossflow in my mk1.

Just would like to know if its a good idea for the A12.

im pretty sure you can get a-14 pistons in, not sure bout what revs and stuff itll pull

have met a couple of guys with a-12s in mini sprint cars, they claim to get 10,500rpm and another 11,000+rpm

could find out how they do it if ya like, ive been told but forgotten now

Yup, A14/15 pistons go in, you need to bore out the little ends to accept the larger gudgeons.
The cast pistons will be too heavy and too weak for those revs, as will pretty much everything else between the gearbox and the radiator
