hey just put and a15 in my ute and the cable doesnt reach has anyone had this problem and how or what can i use to fix it

No, I put an A14 in place of A12 and the throttle cable fit. Aren't you using the stock carburetor?

im running a weber, the cable is about 150mm short

Not me, had a standard carb, Weber 36 DCD and now a set of Dual SU's on the A14, still using the original legnth cable, just replaced it with a new one.
