I can see where you are going with this and will make changes if i have to but none of the changes suggested thus far have made one bit of a difference even if they made it worse that would have been something but alas. What puzzels me is with exactly what i have now i could log into the old site perfectly which makes me think something you changed is now upsetting the vpn or firewall.
