does or did anyone have a bolt that stopped the accelerator from going all the way down to the floor in there 1200 ute?
if so, whats it for?

edit: oh and it is bolted to the floor pan

Yes,that bolt is there so you get a solid stop before you get full throttle. It's only a 6 mm bolt with a locknut at the floor. If the throttle pedal is at it's full travel (ie on the firewall) it doesn't really do anything, but all my 1200's got full throttle before that. You risked bending linkages without it & you wouldn't get full throttle next time you needed it. As I say, it's just a long 6 mm bolt into the floor,the secret was to get full throttle using your hand on the accelorator pedal, then wind out the bolt so it moved the pedal back slightly. You'd then be guaranteed of getting full throttle every time.

Would it be possible to get a late model Nissan Micra, fit the 1.8 litre motor from a Tiida & then turbocharged it? Your answer must include parts numbers for the conversion. You have 12 months. Commence.

i had a problem with my pedal getting caught under it lol and it held the car at full revs so i took it out
