The gx bonnet makes the difference in setting your car apart and its not easy to get one so its not easy to replicate, especially when you are building a show/ race car. It makes all the difference when building a high quality car.

I totally agree and thats the reason I went for it even though I prefered the standard bonnet. But now I prefer the GX shape.

Yep, if you had the 1972-style bonnet here, your 1200 would be one of kind. I've never seen one.

Funny, I have one on my sedan but generally show it with the bonnet open, so nobody ever notices it.

DD if you're bringing the ute down, register now. The show fills up rather fast.

I'll be there!...Just don't know which car to enter???...the 1200 project still sits in the same location for the past few years! The 610/200B is decent enough to show...the B210/120Y is O.K...the B310..is o.k. too...the '82 200sx fastback is a runner not a beauty but a runner!...or maybe my '68 Roadster R16??
But my rotor head friends who are willing to pay my entrance fee...want me to enter my '71 Mazda 1200 pick up/ute! As far as I know there are only 3 in the USA left...mine being one of them!
It's rough but it will catch peoples attention...!
Decisions..decisions....I'm even selling a '81 200SX convertible...DAMN RECESSION!!!

Bring the Mazda. I'd like to see a clean Mazda w/o the Rotary. Used the be Rotary pickups were common in Califonia, but I don't remember a 1200 pickup that early.
