They are 560g each with ARP bolts installed

20mm pin though... so chose pistons wisely or get them bronze bushed

The A15 engine I'm building has 79 forged high compression pistons, 320 degree Nismo camshaft, forged steel 2.9kg flywheel. What sort of bhp/ torque figures are realistically achievable from this motor?

aftermarket forged I beams are lighter rods than H beams for same strength.

I've done a bit of research. And I found that ca16de rods are bigger and stronger than the a series rods, but lighter that the ca18de rods. I'm yet to weigh a ca18det rod, but I think they are the same as the de rods.
I got a set of ca16 rods for nix. Plus the ca16 rods have a 9mm rod bolt, so thats stronger right out from the getgo.
