had a xy gt race race on the dyno when i got there and a vk speedway car waiting to go on the dyno so yer hopfully hear from them soon

she's back and goes a lot better , need'd cooler plugs and more timing and the floats where out, plus worn out linkages where giving uneven throttle so yer its a lil goer now but only revs to 6800 and hits a wall ? so not shore why ? but maybe it doesnt make any more power after 6500 so ill just live with that .

So this is Andy's old engine? This thing has a pretty tough reputation.

From what you are saying I reckon it is the dizzy, unless tappets need some fine tuning? but that wouldn't yield many more rpms if they are already quite close to what they should be.

Or maybe the valves need to be seated again? Quick grit n lap?

Mals dizzies are great, got one running on my A10 but I wouldn't put it on my screamer A12 though. Here is the monster dizzie I have on the A12.......10mm leads.






Then again I dunno, those (Mals) dizzies are reasonable well made so they should hold out to at least 7500.

Can you borrow someone elses performance dizzie to see if it works any better??

i drove it then home from work and i was reading the taco wrong its braking down/hitting a wall at 5500rpm

yes this is andys old motor ,

im gonna ring the dyno tuner tomorro and see wat he thinks

but the only change's are new elec dizzy
rebuilt andys webbers
new fuel pressure reg
new spark plugs has dyno tuner recomended
and new 2.5 inch zorst
has new leads but i think i might buy/borrow a set to check

i run bp ultimt 98 fuel
thinking of getting some racing fuel from a speedway racer down the road to see if it helps
