- was kinda wondering if anyone here.. or in pta that could help me find a 1200`s body.. i`m struggeling to do so on the internet.. and i get like a bit of time off of work sometimes over the weekends so its difficult and i need to get my datsun going again cause i miss it like crazy, well i get to drive my fathers sentra in the mean while thats not so bad :D ..oh and sorry that wasnt in afrikaans .. afrikaans hates me.. and you did kinda ask who understood it.. i understand it

Ja, ek sal ook sê hy moenie die crank laat knife edge nie.
Die ouens op die VW site laaik nie om dit te doen aan VW cranks nie ook a.g.v flex.
Wat Clive vergeet het om te sê is dat hy sy A15 7000 /7500rpm gerev het sonder dat die engine gebalance is.
Ek is vas oortuig dat dit vibrasies is wat daai crank laat breek het.

hey manne, ja. Ek like goed wat rev... ongelukkig. Ek sit met iets wat ek nie weet of dit n goeie of slegte ding is nie... N SR18De. En ek is hard opsoek na die verskill tussen die SR20 en hom.
Wat ek sover weet is die boor op die sr18 is 82.5mm verder selfde crank en rods as sr20. Dan praat n paar manne van hyt agressiever cams ook. Al wat ek wil weet is die heads. Is da n verskil? :P

Jis manne, ek is terug na 'n week van siek wees en meeste van die tyd in die bed.
Ek is nou gatvol vir rond le en sal die week weer moet datto.

Het saterdag vir my weer 4 slicks gekry, maar weet net nie so mooi of ek die goed op my rims gaan kry nie, sal maar moet probeer.

Superbin, ek is bly vir jou part oor die elec dizzy, ek soek nou al lank vir een.

My dinge kom darem nou mooi aan vir die coil-over conversion die naweek, moet nog net alles laat electro plate en die springe optel, dan is ek reg vir die naweek.

Jisja bly om te hoor jys weer op die been. Ek het gister op ian se forum gesien hy het n 1970s touring car stuur wiel gekry wat dai tyd in die datsuns gebruik was. Hy soek al glo 3 jaar vir 1. Dit lyk nogal nice. O en lyk my ek kry vandag n engine stand ek moes lankal n datto anskaf lyk my dinge met die projek loop net reg!

lol, janee, die datoos is nie bad nie, ek vloek alweer oor polybushes, maar gelukkig gaan dit nie my planne opneuk nie, ek kan nou net die castor/traction rod bushes kry, die idler arm bushes moet weer bestel word, kan hulle dan maar later insit. Ek het nice prys gekry van R300 op elec dizzy.

Jassas, het ek nie gisteraand gesukkel nie.

Ek het so 7uur begin om die nuwe stel camber / castor plates inmekaar te weld, as 'n mens alleen is is dit maar net eenvoudig nie so maklik nie. Half 10 toe is altwee inmekaar en netjies afgewerk. Ek gaan hulle vandag invat vir plating saam met al die ander parte vir die naweek se coilover bou sessie.

Hou ons op hoogte. Ek dink jy is die enigste suid afrikaner wat 'n coil over setup in a datsun gaan regkry. Niemand anders weet ek van wat dit al gedoen het nie. Ek sal as fondse dit later toelaat dalk die 2de of 3de persoon wees wat dit ook gaan traai. As hierdie F0kken risessie net kan verby kom.
