Simon Phillips of Melbourne. Y'know sikyne, the gentleman with the insane staged injected, motor-bike headed A series Ipra coupe?

They're really well made, the runners were spun in a lathe first to put a lip on the ends that'd hold/dowel the carb connectors nice and secure.

You want buy?

I want o make an downdraft curved manifold with the Su or lpg unit

have the turbo sitting high.

To get these onto your 1200 it'll take:

YOU to give me all of your money

Me to send it to you and, you to pick up a spanner!!

Nah, basically if you are pretty handy and have access to basic workshop utensils (I should say tools) you'd need to:

1. You need to measure whether 305mm protruding carbs will foul with the strut tower. Keep in mind this is 305mm without filters.

2. Fuel rail & gravity feed arrangement (these puppies like to be drip fed).

3. Little throttle cable bracket.

4. Tuning.

5. Filters/ filter box.

6. You'd have to have extractors or A14/A15 closed exhaust manifold or gx manifold to run these. Or you could weld the heat platform off on the stock manifold.

I should have rephrased what I said before. I have had a lot of interest but not one offer. I think the extra work scares people off....or the fact that they haven't yet measured before they inquire.

BUMP.

The carbs have since been dipped and cleaned. I'll get some more pictures over the weekend.

Please email me. Details in profile.

Chris

HERE IS THE OLD ADVERT AGAIN:

Calling for offers.

ITEM: Keihin Motorcycle Carburetors + 316 SS Oval Port Manifolds

CONDITION: Manifolds New, Carburetors are used.

REASON FOR SELLING: I basically don't have the funds to get these up and running and if I get a decent offer I am willing to part with them. But if the offers are lousy I will keep them as they are pretty damn neat.

PRICE AND PRICE CONDITIONS: Please make an offer, that means PM a figure that you are willing to spend.

EXTRA INFO:

I had these manifolds made up by Simon (aka Sikyne) with the intention to run them on an A-series engine. The carburetor per cylinder would promote excellent throttle response and provide precision air/fuel mix to the engine when tuned correctly.

They are suited to the engine bay of the 1000 however they may fit a 1200 engine bay seeing as they protrude 305mm from the face of the engine head. My twin 45mm Webers with long trumpets protrude about 300mm as well so that should give you an idea of scale.

So I have separated, dismantled, inspected and then cleaned the carbs and I have also repainted the caps and rack-bar on the carburetors. I am desperately short on cash [as always]. The stainless manifolds are standing to the right of the photo.

Is anyone interested? Please make an offer.
