Good to know you fixed the issue or was there no issue really just you didn't see pressure quickly enough?

I'd drop the oil straight away new filter and oil clean out your sump and pickup, just incase it was something blocking a gallerie that has now been freed up, did you check they cleaned it properly after soaking?

Take off the pump and see if anything nasty has passed through it since it got pressure. Then assemble and see if it still has pressure and that the pump just didn't work because it was vasalined up.

ok new problem, i've taken the head off and it looks like the head gasket let go because the head bolts werent torqued up (but i multi stage torqued them and its a mono torque head gasket, figure that one out) and now the heads off theres coolant everywhere so ive cleaned it all up and sprayed a lil crc in the bores.

anywho i found this after i took the head off

what the hell is it? looks like boiled coolant and its only around the valve seat

Coolant normally goes like that when exposed to air, that would just be from the head gasket leaking.

I would go head studs and a genuine or competition gasket, phone barry at datsport he can give you some good advice.

I have some of those GX high tensile number 13 studs, if you are interested in some of them.

They are used.

About those extractors. One set I am using and the second set go into a 3inch leader (used on the racecar). So it is pretty massive, they are also custom made pieces so I'd rather not get rid of them. Sorry Aiden.
