I had a bit of a bummer of a saturday... Drove the ute out to willowbank for the fast fours and rotorys Jaamboree all ready to race, my first ever quarter mile pass at a 13.18 at 108MPH
Lined up for the second pass later on in the day, and was going to give it a whole lot more this time in the burn out and in the take off. Started the burn out and just got her into 2nd gear and bang! At first i thought i blew a tyre but i then saw my whole passenger side rear wheel bouncing away behing me through the revision mirror.... mmmm DAMN now have too replace a few wheel studs and nuts.
Ended up getting a lift home and got the work ute out and hired a trailor and trailored the ute home

Nice one rezlo! Are you aloud to do that in your class? With the fine class here in cpt we can fit a roll bar but no cage and we cant remove the back seats.

I am having rear "seats" made to fit, whole interiour is going charcoal and black, front seats will be leather,

Its the ture FIA homoligated cage/roll over as required to run true "Marque" in the international Springbok series coming up in November. Its seen as a roll over system now, but then it was known as a cage, its still a 4 point so you could use it in Fine if you got the rear seats to fit, in my case im just doing it out of 1" high density foam.

I replaced the centre bearing in the tailshaft of my D21 Navara, she was a bit wobbly. Put it all back to find that the front uni joint had broken, so I replaced this too. had to go back to the Part Store as the first ($22) uni was the wrong one. Wouldn't you know the correct uni was more expensive ($33).
