what car does a ca18det come out of and what cars do some of the nessisary parts come out of e.g intercooler, exaust, cams, conrods, crankshaft, that sort of thing

comes out of a S13 180SX. and youll need the whole engine

go out buy a hot 4's or fast fours mag read thru for import engine ads and ask for a price on a front cut then go buy one. then you get the engine gearbox wiring loom computer and all the other bits from the engine bay.

your exhaust will have to be a custom one.
you can buy a new intercooler if you want. or have someone make a custom one or find one from another car that will fit.

if u live in sydney i would reccomend JUST JAP as your source of a ca18det.. lol as they are best and cheapest.. they are all honest blokes..
i wouldnt buy a front cut unless u have the money 5000$ cheaper 2 buy motor and box for 1300$

the costs have gone up because of big demand and tighter regulations now in the importing buiseness...

ive been quoted $2200 for a s13 front cut...

oppz soryy my mistake i was thinkn half cut..
havnt workeed in industry for about 6 months now..
half cuts are roughly 5000$ whole front of s13
front cut is 1300$ motor and box + ecu
just jap rates..
