Yep. I'll second that Dodgeman.

Manuals can be picked up so cheap on Ebay nearly all the time - there is NO excuse for not owning one if you intend to have a go at some jobs yourself.

Just remember : some jobs will require a decent qualified tradesman to complete, if you want the job done properly.
And not after you have already botched up the job...............................................it will mean more $$$$$$$$$$
