dude rotarys are cool like they sound good and they go good, BUT you have to get the revs up before they do n e thing my father and i rally a 1200 that has been worked on extensivly and it is a rally car not a road car (and i dont know what this 1200 is for) but i went in a rotary and it was fun but it was way to sluggish until it got up to the revs whereas with our 1200 it has go as soon as you put your foot down so personaly i would say stick with the 1200 motor and do a bit of work to it there great.

Matt
PS: These were both rally cars and on the dirt)

You didn't go in the right rotary then. An injected rotor with the right sized turbo will pull REAL hard from idle

I'm happy with my A14 with a weber carb. My b210 does pretty good, but I didn't fix it up for performance, just to have a damn good car and that's what I got. ;]

how much does the a12 weigh? I want to get more hp but dont want to upset the balance of my 1200 coupe. Do they have the same flywheel and clutch setup as 4-potters?

the 12a ways practically the same as the a12 datsun. as far as the clutch and flywheel, im not not sure if they match up but i doubt it
