I have completely stripped her down and bought all new exterior panels for it. gonna 'try' get every piece of rust out of it.

At the moment it is at Shakeys Customs in Queanbeyean, NSW. getting the paint and panel done. Dusto @ shakeys is shaving the door handles off, the front fender blinkers, rear tail-lights and anything that we can shave n smooth we will. welding up the tailgate, smoothing over all the engine bay. i have got a Mad Dat hard cover for it. Was thinking of tubbing the rears but havent talked to the fellas about it yet. dunno what colour i want as yet!!!! i was thinking along the lines of a darkish metalic red however i saw in the current issue of Street machine mag, a torana with House of Kolor Wild Violet on it, thought it looked pretty good in the night shots so might try and get that matched. We are thinking of putting LED lights in a custom made beaver panel.

I have recently bought Maso-13's old A14 engine off turbobmw. havent fitted it or fired it up, hoping it goes alrite. im wanting to get a blow through turbo set up for it. If anyone has done this, knows where i can get parts, or has one for sale ill be very interested. (before anyone says check the search function, i already have :P) also in the process of getting a 5 speed box for it.

I was wanting Coilovers for the front eg the S13 coilover swap. if anyone in canberra has done this ill be keen to here from you.

Currently im just sourcing parts i need to complete the build as the car will still be away @ Shakeys for another month or 2. Im not fussing about that as i want a top notch job so im happy for him to take his time. If anyone has ideas/opinions/help more than happy to hear from you!

Your ute looks like its in great condition. What are paint jobs worth at Shakeys Customs and where abouts in Q-town are they? I need a paint job on my ute soonish. If you need certain parts I have some if your interested.

The ute was in pretty good nick when i got it, just a few bumps and bruises on it. Shakeys is located on aurora ave (i think thats how ya spell it) i think its first left in Q-town if you go to Q-town from caberra airport way.if ya need exact address let me know ill post it up. as for price ya best to go see him. theres two dattos in there atm, (mine and another one) the owner of the shop also has a datto i think. im confident ive left it with the right bloke to do the work. ill post up pics whens it done but doubt thatll be 4 a while.
