now i like my music a fair bit and as my datto inside was real clean i didn't want to cut up the door trims so i opted to remake the kick panels to cater for some nice 5.5" co-ax speakers, and this was the result of my fibreglass pods
![]() this was after glassing and painting, prior to cutting out the speaker hole ![]() and this was them installed ... was real happy with the result

now back to inside ... i needed something a little more supportive than the OEM front seats and i wanted to stick with something period that would not look out of place, introducing freshly retrimmed 240z buckets to match the interior !!
![]() and to top off the inside my final peice installed ... ![]() nice alloy plate and leather gearboot with one of a kind shifter knob. plus fire extinguisher for trackdays mounted to a bracket fixed to the passenger seat mounts.

Very nice, Its certainly a tidy wee car i like the 240z seats.
A small upadte on short sedan rear shocks, I ended up going with hilux bilsteins I got the revalved though as they have huge rebound (fine for a rally car not so good for a road car) I can get you the part number if you were still interested

sweet nick, i'd be keen for the part number as i havent got any closer to sorting out the rear shocks ..
and as for the semi slicks they will eventually go on, or a new set will ... next year when i can get the datto back onto the track ... but i still gotta get the handbrake sorted ;) so i'll have to grab the bits off you pigdog to start fiddling around :)
