Thanks Guys

Custom mix colour, so going to have to eye match when I paint the spoiler.

The spoiler was the 1200 spoiler from Canberra Car Styling which I cut up and re-fiberglassed into what I wanted. Modelled along the lines of R34 front bumper so it neatly covers the intercooler. Took a considerable amount of time to make and should look good when its painted. Could not get car engineered and rego with exposed intercooler as they argued someone could burn themselves on it.

Jordy - Im running a Goss Motorsport fuel pump. Which is bloody noisy and way more than I really need at the moment. Had to remove the custom surge tank setup and lifter pump to get car engineered and rego. It all went inside drivers side rear quarter. Might put it back in.

Starting to get things moving again.

Ordered new front springs last week. They said they were in stock but they are now on back order Should drop the front 35 mm. Which will mean that it will match the rear. The vehicle will then be close to stock ride height. Dont want to lower too much and then become cop bait.

Had the front 1/4 windows tinted today and the car is going in next Friday to have the glass in the front door tinted. Once that is done will install the speakers in the front doors and re-fit the door skins.

Have a oil leak from the gear box to still get sorted, but awaiting a new seal I have ordered.

Will wait till winter to get the front spoiler painted so I can get some Autum Cruising in.

I was approached by a writer for Perth Street Machine at the Ace Ford Cruise who want to do a feature on my vehicle and submit a write up to Fast Fours for a possible feature as well. Will take that as a compliment but dont think I will take up the offer. I built it to drive not a show car. Plus their are better 1200's on this site which deserve a mag feature if it not seen as wank factor.

Finding it hard to get the time to get anything done. The front springs are on back order still. But I got the window tinting finished on Friday. Just doing some mods to the door cards and they can go on next week and the Clarion splits can go in the doors.

Got the gearbox seal so maybe I might get my mechanic to fit that on Friday.

Ordered a Altronics headlight reminder. Just as well I have got a big battery as left lights on for 2 hours Friday. They are on special for $19 at the moment.

Well progress is still slow.

Fitted some Lovells springs to the front. They are a lowered Stanza Rally car spring and have dropped the front 35mm. Front is now slightly lower than the back but it looks sweet now.

Fitted the Clarion 5 inch splits in the front doors, which means the custom Door Cards are now completed and I have music. Still need a antenna for the radio. I am running a wire around the front windscreen on the inside. It will be tucked into the rubber and I have a amplifier which this will connect to and Thus no visable antenna on the outside of the car. If it picks up the local FM station I will be happy.

Oil leak is still to be sorted

I am toying with the idea of fitting a blow off valve. The one in the pix I allready have. Was given to me by a mate who had it on a Toyota Soarer. It can be plumbed back but the outlet on the valve is 35 mm. What do you think?

some aftermarket bovs can leak and cause tuning problems
use a factory one and plumb it back (youve measured that air with the air flow meter and if you dump it you have too much fuel)
no noise no cops!

Car's been at the mechanics for last 3 days. Got the block reverse flushed with one of those pressure gun things. Would do it myself but dont have one anymore and they are dam expensive.

Got a fair bit of shale and rust out of the block. Hope it settles down a bit now as its to hard to pull out and do properly.

Front spoiler got painted to match, looks heaps better. Slightly different colour but only cost a cartom.

All going well I will give it a run at the drags and hopefully one of the boys can take a pix.

that's the same blow off i have, they are a AVO, and work very well, just plumb it back in between the Air flow metre and front of the turbo, and adjust it so it takes a bit of boost before it goes off
