They are underneath the silver. - I just used scotchbrite on mine & rubbed it back where I wanted.

finished it during the week. what do you all think?

i have to say i started with the steel wool - 7mins my ass!!!. the bulk came off reasonably quickly but getting into the corners etc was murder. the finish under whilst black was not great. taking it back was all good in the end and provided for a good base. plastic primer (2 coats), gloss black (2 coats).
