think of it this way sumith, its about the same price for small kits between 50hp to 150hp, about 1000$ aus, so a 50hp shot is bad economy, a 50hp shot will be basically doubling the power of an old a series with only u know how many miles on it, and might break something. Also if u dont have the suspension and brake upgrades to handle it u might crash and blow up your nos and yourself with it.

For the same $ u could do some nice performance and handling mods that arent cheating and need refilling after every race.

1000coupe - You have some relevant points... But I feel you could hardly call NOS 'cheating'.
It's a simple preference as is cubes, turbo, supercharging etc. What ever flicks your switch (No pun intended).

I would say that it is a touchy subject. I was lucky for a few years experimenting with it only because I built my own kit. This year I was not so lucky and threw a rod through the side of the block. I have decided to continue using it but I have a friend who deals with Cold Fusion Nitrous. He said that he would help me out and tune the motor so that I wouldn't wreck another one. No problems getting the Blower and the NOS to work at the same time. The NAPZ24 should pack a powerful punch when completed. I am most worried about weither my H190 rearend is going to hold up or not.
Check the Cold Fusion Nitrous Calculator

A properly set up and tuned kit will do no harm to your engine, providing you don't try to squeeze 250 extra horses out of an A12.
I put my kit together for a little over $600. (Including the bottle)
Hollywood has a lot to answer for with regards to the untold myths surrounding nitrous oxide. In reality, you wouldnt use it on the street. (well, not much anyway) And the duration of a shot would rarely exceeed 5-6 seconds. (Where are you going to be able to accelerate flat out for longer than that?
Some say why would you bother, I say whay wouldn't you bother? Some is good, more is better, and too much is just enough!
