ive got a black ute as u can see in my pic and id say the worst part bout a black car is that it is hard to keep clean but the upside is it looks bloody awesome, ppl say its too hot in the car but the only time it gets hot is if u leave the car outside for a few hours then get back in, but other than its fine, just open the windows and five minutes its normal. cheers hope ur car turns out good wateva colour.

Hi Kegs
It's funny how people think darker clours make the interior hotter. RACQ did a test on that theory several years ago and found that the exterior colour doesn't affect the interior's temperature.
I've owned cars in just about every colour and you're absolutely right black is a pain in the butt to keep clean.
Another colour that might look good is a deep red. I haven't seen too many older cars in that sort of colour.
I know white isn't that interesting but if there is any panel damage it will be easier to match and maintain. There is nothing worse
than seeing a dark coloured car out in the sunlight with swirl marks all over it.
Regards Matty

I'm painting my ute Daihatsu Max yellow It's kinda a mustardy yellow. Really like it in person.... I agree with darker colors though when you've got chrome. I just think these cars are too small to be painted black.

Dude,

Red is best. Try the GMH Red Hot colour. Looks awesome in the sunlight. Great with chrome.

hay there choosing the colour of your car is a big step i looked into stock colours so if i had a scratch i could get it patched up cheap and will match colour i would recomend going Gun metal grey if it is a ute.. i had my ute sprayed a few months back now and gott the new Ford yellow/ green it was either this colour or WRX sti grey very nice colour with all new crome goodies on your car.. good luck..
