I'VE DONE IT! finally finished converting my pulsar dizzy..
ok here's what I had to do :
take the collar off the end of the pulsar dizzy and fit the A series cog on the end ensuring there was no end float and then mount carefully in a drill press ensuring was clamped from ends and side. drilled an appropriate hole and installed roll pin cut to length. took the adjustment plate off of A series dizzy and marked drilled and tapped pulsar dizzy to suit (even had some factory paint mark where the hole goes approx in the middle!)
only real thing had to do after that was modify vacuum advance unit because pulsar one ends up pointing to the ground. cut the bent piece of mine and glued a micro irrigation elbow piece on using high-grade epoxy, but you could just extend the tube.
gave all the internals a good wash in the kero bath and used new grease.
well the proof is in the pudding , just got to fire her up again. has anyone got the pulsar wiring diagram? I just need to see what plugs in where and i'm away.
