PS stupid question but did the 1200 coupes come out with disc brakes and will they fit in a 1200 ute ?

The 1200 coupe came out standard with disc brakes on the front. This is the same strut assy as the later 120y

If you had said 2 months earlier you wanted some. Could have given you a set. Gave 4 sets away to a guy building a buggy.

Estyre - You could do a brake upgrade on the 180B struts and they have a larger stub axle assy. Some adjustable camber tops should correct the alignment issues you mentioned i another post.

Onve you have the bigger disc on your strut, make some mounting brackets out on 10 mm plate. to suit the matching calipers.

yeah i would up grade my disc anf calipers on the 180b struts but the wheels still hang out of the guards heaps although it looks awsome it isnt legal

ddgonzal, the writeup on how to convert 120y struts to s13 disc was lost out of the wiki not the s13 strut conversion

My question is if i run r31 struts with all the suspension upgrades thats needed for these to fit , will i have a offset that will make my wheels stick out of the gaurds , or will it sit in about the same spot as the 1200 struts/brakes ?

track will increase about 30mm with r31 struts, but you can run more positive offset wheels on them to bring it back in a bit
