Hello. I have a blackberry 8800 from T-Mobile and last night I was in the middle of upgrading the operating system when, believe it or not, my comupter SHUT DOWN. So I thought, I will just plug it back in and load up my backup...but unfortunately, when I plug in my device, I get a message saying the USB device has malfunctioned and windows does not recognise it.The 8800 screen doesn't display anything, but the LED light blinks twice over and over. Is there anything I can do to restore my backup somehow? Can the phone be sent in somewhere to get the original data restored?
Thanks in advance.

If this is a legitimate question? I'd take it to the place you bought it from.

Naw, the memory is wiped during phone upgrades. There is probably a way to finish the upgrade. Contact T-Mobile they will know what to do.
