easier to get an L series one and then cut the holes to suit the a series (basically make a new backing plate).

Hmm last one I saw purchased cost almost $350.

That was when there was alot of unnecessary hype though.

I would consider a good quality one worth $80 to $100 at the most.

or you can get a L series one for less than $50 and make your own backing plate or modify the backing plate to match the A series su's.

The a series ones i have seen are all going for $200 plus.
