Thanks John, Its mainly to get over the pits. It is quite restricted air flow wise though, hopefully it will help quieten the induction noise and limit the power a bit ( it is supposed to be an A12!).

Are you going to run a pre-filter on the cold air intake? Or just a bit of mesh or something? Is the box alloy? U should get someone to tig it up if it is..

Yeah Bailz its alloy not going to worry about welding, airfilters are enclosed inside the box.

When I got the CA over the pits, I made up a restrictor plate for the exhaust out of 1.2mm mild steel and slipped it into the exhaust pipe at a flange point. It retricted power and noise dramatically.

Might be woth considering as its a easy mod and would help pass the engine off as a A12
