A bunch of american style crap. "these natives are jepardising our whole operation". That type of thing just makes me mad. (Reminds me of the other injustices going on in the world) So I'm not gonna pay to see that.

Like when the Americans met the Native American Indian? Or when the English met the native Australian Aborigine? Or when the Romans met ANYBODY?

I think in a world where we have so many luxuries and twisted stories true and fiction,
it is hard to not find things predictable.

I particularly liked the beasts, the fauna and the neuro-network abilities possessed by all things Pandoran and I enjoyed the connection the NA'VIs have with nature and every living organism. Its was probably a true ability we once had when we were pagan and considered everything around us sacred. Until of course the legions of invading races as mentioned by Revvy, overtuned the worlds native and aboriginal tribes through all kinds of injustice and greed.

Now its off to a huge money scabbing church with a priest that drives a big SUV who couldnt care less where his steak came from. Even more where all the items that clothe, feed and entertain come from slave labour or wonderful Free trade.

We are so desensitized with so much corporate pollution and their constant distractions that for many its just another action flick.

For some that is a reason it is easy to just look past the important details. Funny enough my niece and nephew had no problem interpreting most of the details and never shutting up about it.

I think D said it all, and very well too!
But sometimes I like to go to the movies to submerge myself in what is not real and not think about the similarities with this world, just to enjoy the experience and escape from the real world, but thats just me.

Its all in the eyes of the beholder. Some things are deeper than we want them to be.
Interpretation is dependent on how much brain input we want to put in at the time :)

If it doesnt get you wet for the reasons stated then thats up to you, it sometimes
takes some effort to get people away from so much logic and cynical thoughts.

Waterboy was on the other night and was a good fun way to turn off the brain
You can do it..!!!

Edit: Sam Worthington will be Perseus in a remake of Clash of the Titans which hopefully will make Greek Myth geeks interested.
