Have had no time to work on the diff but sourced a set of Hilux calipers for the front. $90 inc freight from east coast for a set.

No joy in WA. Only wreckers that would help were Tony's Auto Wreckers and they wanted $165 each.

Will grab a seal kit and re-build these an then work out what rotors to use on the Stanza strut.

hey old_school your doing the same brake setup as me and you can use silvia rotors (CA) as they will fit in 13 inch wheels aswell with the toyota calipers

and if you want seals, pads and rotors let me know and ill help you out on the price :)

estyre, the more stuff u modify the more stuff that has to pass engineering.

if its not modified, it must of met a standard :)

try to cut the least amount of stuff possible... i am tellin ya u can fit with n tunnel mods. you can massage it if your desperate or lazy :) just be persistant :)

Bailz is right. I did not modify the tunnel appart from massaging it in places to clear the box. However the gearbox mount was done how the engineer wanted it done. I originally just bolted one to the floor plan and this was not acceptable. So you need to consult a engineer and ask how they want it done. I had to pull all the carpet out and weld a new cover over the old gear stick hole as well as he did not like the first one I put in and this, at the time was a pain in the butt.

I used the Corolla diff with the Stanza brakes to get the car rego as this diff was bolt in and required minimal mods. Hense now I am building the Skyline diff because if this was done initially this would have to be engineered. More headaches and money.

The engine is best if it is stock appart from a pod filter because they will pickup on all modifications. Because more hp effects the engineering on the vehicle.

The inspection centers in WA are on the ball with all this because a few were burnt badly for passing illegal vehicles. MH Diesel inspected my car and had it for 6 hrs on the hoist checking it over and that was after the engineering was completed.
