The CA18 Gearstick boot as seen in the pix
P/No: 32862-V5001
(Suit S13, 1989, CA18DET)
$22.70 - RRP

A young guy at Mandurah Nissan sourced this for me. Apparantly Nissan can get most parts for a grey import, if they are paid for in advance. However he said that alot of dealerships will not get involved with grey imports as once you order something it cant be sent back. Also ring around as a Perth dealer (who was recomended as they source alot of import parts) wanted $69.00 for the same part.

Air Flow Meters

Theres a test for them to see if they are faulty..

Using car bettery voltage 12V..

Put + onto pin B, put - onto Pin C.
Then put your multimeter red lead onto d and the black lead to - side of battery.

With no airflow you should see apprx 1V from Pin D to - side of battery.

Whilst holding the multimeter on pin d and - side, blow air through the AFM, the voltage should vary from 1V up to about 3V.. if it does, it works ;)

also, you can get engine mounts off ebay if your not keen on getting the maddat ones.

i am pretty sure that the landrover V8 ones are more than suitable for this application, i have used them on mine and at less than 50 delivered to your door, you cant complain :)

i will get the link up soon.

sounds like a good alternative and probably neater design.

Anyone know of crank pulley kits to remove air con and power steering?
eg. alloy crank pulley kits? or better to just machine the 2 others from
the ogirinal and have it rebalanced?
