aah #OOPS# i had a feeling that i would need all the sensors hooked up

i will be doing a full custom loom, i hte the standard loom! i have already started parts of my loom...

i am really struggling to figure out why the fuk the motor wont come out of safe mode! i have checked all the components! must be the loom or something...

What's it doing in safe mode mate?

starts, idles, wont rev past 2000rpm... have the AFM disconnected, will not start if its plugged in and if i plug it in it revs up a tiny bit then dies straight away..

i have tested the airflow meter and it works fine.

other quick one.. when the motor is running, the ecu leds turn off, the green one flashes every now and then..

The green one will flash about every 5 seconds when the car is running.

As for the other stuff that is very strange.

Have you checked the diagnostics?

The motor is definitely earthed correctly? I have found CAs are very sensitive to being earthed well.

LED's on the ECU sound correct. The test for the AFM in my opinion is not a valid one and does not accurately prove that the AFM is not faulty. I have a faulty AFM here that when pluged into the car will not run over 2000 rpm and gives the faulty code in diagnostic mode. You can try that one.

I do have a know good spare, but do not want to part with it. Sorry

could i possibly borrow the spare for and arvo to check to see i its the problem? I got a part number and a price from nissan... u get a carton of carona as change outta a grand :( lol

i tested my afm, i belive it works but could be wrong.. i did multiple tests on it,,,

well at 950 or a new one... wont be gettin one of those to find out mines not broken lol

I dont want to kill a good spare, as these things are tempremental and hard to come buy.

However I will loan you the faulty one as the car runs with this one connected, but wont rev over 2500 rpm. Plug that in and if your CA dies straight away you know you have further problems.
