it says in legislation that it must have atleast 10mm clearance at all points of the engine at full load.... read the regs mate, dont believe everything u hear

You can drop around and check out mine if you like Mike, I'm using a 'ca18det_man' crossmember - with 120Y sway bar....it's millimeters of the firewall.
