You thought CA was hard- the L is bigger on an angle than vertically- Im glad I went with L16 rather than L20 with the 20mm taller block
It was resting on rad fan shroud and fire wall

whats the oil pump and filter base off? before i gave up on my L series quest, i was thinking i could of just used a standed late ute cross member and made new mounts to bolt to the block.. but the the oil filter was in the way and it had a short filter anyway...

used the stanza tunnel Andy, had to do the same around the shifter as you, we didnt box the top near the firewall, just beat it into place really. Its pretty big and i doubt we could have droped the engine in like that with out it and without cutting rad support. still tight for the heater, but there is another heater that fits easier, the ones with clips at the back not the bolts.I have to find one
Also the oil filter housig is off a blue bird im pretty sure. might be a 720- some one will correct me im sure- yeah it was another lifesaver.
