I put an electronic dizzy on my last car and got huge static (or electric noise) on my radio, I fitted a noise suppressor but no change, do you know how to stop this?

is the dizzy just a distributor with the cap that has leads to the spark plugs which helps with the iginition?
a bit of a noob with these sorts of things, if anyone can clear this up, and if a dizzy is essential to a car and if so, how.
i have B310, so it would suit perfectly, but need to know if i need one haha
thanks guys, sorry about my ignorance.
Luke.

Yes it helps the ignition, electronic dizzy's are much lower maintainance and give much better and more reliable performance.

Has anyone used one of these dizzy's with a turbo A-series set-up?

if so, how well did it perform?
