Had a look around to no avail....

Is it possible to get a rotor that is ventilated to suit my Stanza Strut/brake upgrade? Ive bought stanza Early model rotors and calipers ( girlock ) but have been told solid rotors will die with a couple of good uses..

I didnt realise until i got the rotors they were solid ,but thought, until now, that it would be ok.

Needs to fit 13inch wheels,

Any help would be super!!

There is no vented option
And if you have stanza calipers they won't be wide enough to take a vented disc anyway

Toyota Hilux s12w calipers will bolt onto the Stanza strut and suit a 20mm vented rotor. Dont ask me what rotor to use as I have not got that far yet, but it will need some minior machining to fit the Stanza hub.

Dont know if it will fir into 13 inch wheels.

Maybe give 280ZX hubs and calipers a shot, as they hav the same stub axel (Im pretty sure) and a 250mm veted disk.. but if you were going to do that you Might be better of to go the whole 280zx strut as it has better geometry in a 1200..

I thought the all Zeds had a larger stub axle than Stanza and 1200\120y. in my pics I played with some Nissan nomad disks and stuff on stanza struts if it's worth looking at, I didn't finish off a solution to hold in the brake callipers though.

Im on the hunt now for some "s12w" calipers or anything else that can be considered an upgrade - meaning vented and able to fit under my 13's And sit on my stanza struts

Seems to be ALOT of www bullship regarding s12w calipers. eg What they were originally on and whether youll get caught buying the vented or solid version!

With the vented s12w caliper, the valley where the disc goes is that the 20mm ( roughly ) measurement to fit a vented rotor??

Am i being picky? Is it hard to do this combo?

done a few sets of hilux/landcruiser brake conversions on stanza struts

ive been using pintara discs u12 im pretty confident

bought slotted discs for the last set, need to be re-drilled to suit mounting to hub though

then caliper bolts straight to strut, though you need to grind a little off the caliper to clear the hub

this fits under 13" rims, and depending on exact rim you may have to grind a little off the outside of the caliper for some 13's

run these on my road car and rally car for years, (as a side note this doesnt requre a brake booster either)

this detail of which calipers exactly what model etc ive never had an issue with, just went out and got hi-lux or landcruiser calipers, maybe i was lucky but i think the issue is a rare one honestly

those calipers, with the stagered pistons to suit a 20mm venter disc are from 60 or 75 series landcruisers...no great mystery, early hilux caliper(80s models) have calipers that look the same but suit a 10mm solid disc

the equal piston calipers are off non turbo 4 runners/surfs up to 95 models and the equivalent model hilux 4x4s

also HZ kingswood calipers bolt onto stanza struts and suit a vented disc, dont know what diameter though so dont know if they would fit under 13s

oh and zed cars struts do have a different stub axle, thats only z's not zx's though
