Datsun 1000 [all]. Datsun 1200 coupe & Datsun 120y coupe shocks are, i believe, interchangeable, even if they are not identical.
Datsun 1200 non coupes have a completely diferent setup Chris

I was under the impression that the coupe ones were shorter than the sedan ones.

The shocks are a little different in size. Also the coupe shocks don't have bump stops.

So the coupe shocks are no good for the sedan. Are there any late model dattos or nissans that share the same shocks? I'd like to find some off a car that was/is a little bit heavier than the 1200 so the shocks are a bit beefer, the originals look like pencils. For example on my coupe im running KYBs off a Susuki Vitara (or something like it, Ill have a look at the papers) theyre bigger better and a straight swap, oh and cheep.

My sedan is lowered about 1.5 inches/ 38mm and i think I'm using coupe shocks. They were bought second hand and that's what the guy said they were from. The only thing that stops my axle is the bump stop in the center, over the diff.
I think 210/B310 rears will fit, but not if your car is lowered. They're just a tad to long.

The comments that i wrote earlier relate to the rear shocks only, the coupe shocks are diferent from the others.
See if you can find a Koni dealer & ask if they still supply them for 1200's. My 1991 Koni catalogue lists the B110 sedan rear shock number as 80-2139 & the KB110 coupe number is 80-2359. The beauty of these shocks is that they are adjustable for wear, or for performance level variation, they will outlast the car & if you do manage to wear them out, they can be overhauled for the price of K-Mart cheapies. If you find any on a junker, get them. The downside? They are not sheap like other lesser makes, but they are good value. The fronts are 88-1714 [All B110 models] Chris

hey ang94541
you say you ARE running coupe shocks? I think I'll just have to try it of my self and find out if theyre ok. It will be a temp thing so I can drive it without flopping all over the place. so if theyre not perfect its ok but I dont want them to be dangerous. Cheers Quinn You can view topic.
