anyone used the ebay alloy radiator to suit s13 with CA18DET
did some measurements today at it looks like a good fit just wondered if anyone had installed before? at just over $200 they seem pretty good hardest part may be getting the intercooler pipes around as they fill a lot of the engine bay

Alot of people use this radiator. Especially if they started with a half cut.

I was thinking of using one in my CA conversion but my preference was for an SR20 style inlet/outlet as it keeps the top hose away from the throttlebody
piping. Anyway, the reason I didn't go that way is because they are so much thicker than the stock units and I wanted my intercooler neatly hidden behind the standard grill and also room for thermo fans at the back...space is always at a premium with conversions like this. Superfatto has an A series engine in his so probably has a bit more room to play with!

not with the blower set up fitted really he doesnt. im not sure it would be enough to the l series water pully either but i still have a little room on the rad support side.

yes good point(s)
i did measure today i have about 100mm from radiator mounting face to engine crank not much room for a rad and thermos would have to have another look at mine to see how much the throttle body woul be an issue? not sure how the old setup was with my motor but someone has gone to the effort of cutting and re-welding the thermostat housing to face the other way.... probably with good reason ![]()

I have been using one of the Ebay SR 30mm thick ones for the past couple of years without issue. I am currently upgrading to a 50mm thick SR one at present.
The SR outlets make it a bit easier to avoid the throttle body and intercooler plumbing. You can view topic.
