e85 is sh!t

The Koenigsegg ccxs makes allmost 200 more Hp's with e85 and the flick of a switch. It dosent burn as hot but it is much higher octane and you can run more boost/compresion, advance etc etc.. but in a standard pumpgas motor it is a step backwards

Its not a buisness. Im puting this together to put in my coupe. Im certainly not an engine builder. I was inspired by Topgears results and thought i`d have a go.

I put the $100 up to help me with a deadline for completion. I figured $100 isnt too bad to have my car going by the end of March. It will have to happen now cos i know ther will be lots of you wanting to see who gets the dosh!

Just a bit of fun that`s all.

so wats happening with the bike head?

That engine is close, I thought id use a cheap engine to sort the chassis and get myself familiar and confident in the car. Better than wearing out the good engine.

I`ll use the same intercooler, injectors, exhaust and radiator. This will make the engine changeover easy later. It will also give me a startup map for the new engine when im ready for it.

nice work simon, i'm gonna guess 141 hp. Woudn't be surprised if it make more tho.

E85 is great fuel, huge octane and detonation resistance. has cooling properties too with the ethanol in it.
