Still doesn't work. I suspect I may have a few wiring problems. The fuel gauge doesn't work either.

Thanks! That's what my dad suggested, but I figured I'd check before hooking any power up to it.

New seats from a mid 80's 300ZX.
Passenger is in. Had to spend all night trying to find the best way to mount the seat on the Datto mounts. Going to bother with the driver seat tomorrow. Should be a pain. It's a power seat.

I thought the same thing until I saw the mounts. Going to be rough.

Most seats it is easier to adapt to the the Datsun mounts. I had Cadillac power seats in my 1200, wasn't too difficult.


Adapting Seats

Well, I've been sitting here with my mounts looking at it and it may be easier then I thought.

I don't have the seat yet. Still at the junkyard waiting for them to pull it. It was slid back and because it's a power seat and it's in the back position so I can't get it.

Seats are mounted. Driver still sits too high, so I have to do more grinding and cutting.

I feel like it's time for an update.

Been fiddling with her for a while now. Started working on swapping a dash from a 1982 RX7 that I got from a junkyard. A few pics of some progress I've made over time.

Changed the tie rod ends. Were a pain, but as you can see needed it.

Started to paint the car using RustOleum safety red cut with %15 acetone. Now I'm sanding it all down since I got $1200 of paint to put on.

Anyone want drag radials from a Corvette ZR1?
