Hey guys,

I have just bought the materials needed for a 3" exhaust + Metal cat and a set of SARD 650cc injectors. Now im after a decent tuner in Canberra...

Does anybody know of one? I DO know of Dyno Tune, they did all my carby rally cars and they said they did microtech computers, but im just asking if anybody has any other idea?

Cheers

Autotech in Hume have a pretty god rep too. There's a few more like ESP in Queanbeyan and Jakes in Mitchell. Haven't used any personally so not sure what they'll be like...

Hey mate,

I went to Autotech Performance in Hume for my 120Yeehah and was well impressed with their approach. Ed took his time with the job, didn't rush, even though it was after 6pm and he still had a rotary to tune after me, he even shouted me a beer while he did the last few runs. Top bloke and no nonsense, professional approach. Would reccomend them for carbs any day best to call and see if they do efi tho!

I paid $300 I think (it was about a year ago now).

I dunno exactly how many runs he did for that price cos he'd done a few by the time I got there but after that he did at least 6 or 7 more runs with jet/timing changes etc in between.

they also made up a lil bracket for the throttle cable to work with the weber and welded that onto my rocker cover.

I dunno if thats cheap or what but I was happy!

That is a VERY good price... I just asked him for a max quote and at first i nearly fainted... but thats a top figure, was around $1200. But that was actually installing and tuning etc... My computer is running, just needs a tuneup, a/f ratio is 19.... should be a hell of a lot lower :(

4 sure man, good luck with it!!

Once my 200B SSS SR20DET is up and crackin I'll be back there for a fine tune and to learn how to play with the Haltech a bit better and see what the engine is actually capable of.

Let us know what you end up pullin too.

Cheers, Jon
