well despite the temptation to call the Long Island Escort Agency to help me with my car concerns, the Chef and i bought a car at todays auctions
A VZ commodore wagon, 2006, 45,000km, with custom panel work.
saved about 7k by my rough numbers.
And the chef inst worried about denting it now!

well there has been a turn for the worse on the car front.
The insurance company have changed thier mind on hail damageed cars. Last week they were happy to insure it as long as it was documented to put on the policy as existing damage.

Now that we have bought it, they wont insure it unless the damage has been repaired. We have Third party only at this stage thorugh Just Cars.

anyone got any suggestions about solutions to fix the dimples in "Dimples" as it is now known that is cost effective?

There are about 1 dozen 1mm deep 20mm diamater dents.

Call a paintless dent removal business, they say they can fix hail damage.

The cook has spoken to the local panel beater who can fit the job in now, and work in with the Pit inspectors so everything gets done on time and without hassle.
It will be an additional 2k, but that still puts us under budget and market value.

F**Ken insurance companies changing their mind.....
