The best 'available' wiper speed will depend on, ......
1. Properly lubricated joints & shafts, particularly the shaft that the wiper arm bolts to.
2. Full rated voltage from the alternator. A check with a volt meter will determine if the voltage regulator could do with a tweak.
3. Clean electrical contacts along the full circuit, including a proper earth.

I did all this to my wife's little green 2 door B10 when I rebuilt 25 years ago it & the wiper speed was quite acceptable.

I used a Hella kit in my 1200 Ute for intermittent wipers back in the 80's. I have no idea if it is still available, but that's one possibility.

Yes, I greased the linkage and now it works faster and smoother.

B310 has intermittent wipers, and basically the same motor. It uses the "amplifier" that is an option for 1978-up 1200s.

All lube and electrical covered but still wont wipe the pee from a bee.

Must find another wiper motor or go to an electrical motor builder and
get it upgraded with modern bits.

What about B310? It's nearly the same, but B310 has a much larger gearbox.
