Offset of 20 or 40 ?.. they've got NO idea. (For which I'm definitely not surprised).

6.5 inch rims of any diameter will barely fit on a 1200 at the front, and I reckon the ET would be closer 15mm (but even I'm guessing).

You really need to get all your strut/brake upgrades done before spending a lot of money on wheels. Because if you buy wheels first, the wheels won't fit if you when you are done changing brakes/hubs/struts.. because inevitably the front track width changes +/-20mm.

With 17s you'll need to:
- cut the front corner of the guard
- roll the lip
- section the footwell.

Other people make it look easy..they don't talk about how much work it is.

I wouldn't recommend buying from Tempe Tyres, unless you are in Sydney and can take stuff back.

Never buy a wheel unless you can do a trial fit

And don't put big wheels on a car without decent disc brakes

1200 coupe struts, with the good disc brakes.

And 165/55 R12 tires is what I use. Or if you want bigger, 185/50 R14.
