my subframe on the newer 81 ZX is all bent squashed from where people have had narrow jacks etc... its even rusted through on the left hand side firewall where the subframe angles down slightly also i noticed today (my fault ) i jacked up the rear left hand side too check the pads where i jacked it up on the rear suspension mount too the floor pan that pushed up with the weight of the car so how would i fix that ?

Or is this even worth fixing ?

Just thought some of you guys have brought datto's back from the dead hehehe :D

and btw anyone elese seen 245/60/14s before ?????

I got another $50 280zx... cept this one is complete and will become my car one day if i can get the subframe sorted out..

got it running yesterday and runs ok just pushes out a bit of smoke from when i booted it down the road so im thinking rings ? (hopenot) or maybe just becayse it hasnt been started for a while..

if you like the car & want to keep the car then it probably is worth fixing.nothing is beyond repair.personally, i'd be getting a proffesional to have a look at the rust & take it from there.
