1400 vs ac cobra

hey guys,

is it possible for a n.a 1400 to beat a ac cobra down the 1/4 mile, if possible with what mods??

u have got to be kidding???

a 427 cobra vs. a a-1400 NA, no chance, the cobras light weight cancels out the 1200s advantage, on the drag strip

unless you mean a 1400Ci engine and not a 1400CC if you mean the latter then the answer is a big fat no.

Mate, you would have to do some serious modifications to beat a cobra down the 1/4 mile, Unless you spend about $20000, HELL NO! you aint even gunna keep up with a cobra!

it's my father in laws, and it's a 350 the runs 15 high 14 at the coast if that helps a bit come on where is your faith

Then it's not an AC Cobra... it's a replica and probably doesn't have the same weight advantage as the original aluminum-body beauties.

I like the 'have faith slogan' here, SO yeah anything is possible, just try to explain 1400 and normally aspirated?? Does it have to say 1400 on the block? Is nitrous an option? HOW can you 'impair' the driver of the cobra that he will not be able to complete the 1/4 mile...the options are vast

An A14 running high 14s down the 1/4 is surely not that out of reach. it may take a few mods but it would be posible
