gday,
im concidering going EFI for the turbo project i have under way, i was just wondering if anyone could tell me if there is a factory manifold of another car that is suitable, ie can be modded or new flange plate welded on.
just so long as the ports are within par of the head.
i remeber somone doing one a while back with a factory injection manifold off of another car, but i cant find it anywhere :(
i have seen the factory manifolds for datto but, id rather save some coin and make a cusotom one.

any help is grealty appreciated
cheers
Dan

Dattomog was his username. It was a mitsi setup but the throttle body was at the back of the motor, closest to the firewall. I saw one of the plenums at the wreckers Dan.

Yeah you could, but I reckon there might be a better one out there. Basically need a day in the yard with a manifold gasket and a handful of tools.

I reckon its the closest yet but if you can find a starlet manifold from
the jap and north american markets 4efe like SLAM1024 has used its much simpler
and neater to setup.
http://datsun1200.com/modules/myalbum/photo.php?lid=21917
easier to package and just weld on some inj bosses.

Hi there, I like your idea. I also have a Turbo ute prog on the way, EFI defanatly, Couldent find a std intake that apeals to me so custom is the word, plus i don't like to follow the mainstream, i like inovation. I know that the UNO Turbo intake have been used aswel, but the one that ddgonzal have is closer. Your in SA try Nissan Forklift From what i gather there is a forklift with a A14E enjin, and Jap enjin's in pta remove the intakes and put carborators on. I'm trying to get the origanal EFI A14E intake. but best of luck to you!!
