yeah we just sprayed it with black sound deadener, and that gave it a deep rough feel, but we are eventually going to cover it in marine carpet, and we made a hardcover to go on top.

alright finally got the ute regoed yesterday.
just had to adjust the brakes up properly aswell cos they weren't working properly.
ended pulling them apart and one of the front wheel cylinders was leaking brake fluid, making the brakes slide and not operate. so now gotta wait till next weekend to fix it cos the parts shops had no stock.
apart from that, the handbrake doesnt hold, we've adjusted the shoes correctly, and the cable adjustment under the car is wound right up, but still doesnt work, does anyone have any clues as to why?
well here are some pics that i took today, ENJOY

brakes are adjusted properly, could u adjust them up til they start grabbing?if cable is tight and if shoes have meat on them still, it should work, maybe best get ur new cylinders in and see how she goes.note to ben:sedan needs dumping.

The whole lot looks awesome - a real credit to both of you!
I really like the interior.
Is the dash re-covered, painted, fibreglass etc
Who did your door trim's?

yeah blob the dash is recovered, we pulled it out and gave it to the local upholsterer, and he retrimmed it, and also did the roof lining and sunvisors for us.
the door trims and kickpanels on the otherhand were custom made by a bloke in Penrith that we got in touch with.
James - 0414308443 and he said he will make any custom designs that anyone wants.

and yes greendog, sedan will be dumped soon! and so will the arse end of the ute!
i think the shoes could do with replacing, so might aswell do them on front and rear aswell. just a bit of fiddling around haha hows Dan's brakes coming along ay?

hey guys just a quick question.
we replaced all the rubbers in the ute, and now the window is very tight to wind.
its fine winding it up, but when going down, it falls out of the rubber that holds it in the regulator.
just wondering if you guys know of a way to keep the window captive in the regulator?
