now that's a serious cage! Looking good Feral.

is this going to be the home for the FIA head L series? Tarmac rallies or out in the forest?

I am just helping out with the preparation on this car and did the "SERIOUS" suspension for it.

We tried to get it to the Alpine but were beaten by some bad luck. At least its nearly prepped for next year : )

It is a forest blaster. Very spartan inside, but sometimes less is more. It really does look good and goes very well to boot! Wish it was mine!!!!!!

The cage is made by one of my mates who has nothing better to do with his life than devise "survival cells". His aim is to make his cages withstanding a long fall down a vertical cliff I reckon! We weighed the cage. It came in at 44 Kg (Cams approved material). Exactly the same weight as was removed in crap from the body before seam welding and floorpan strengthing braces were added.

Converted,
Doing a car on tight budget is probably the best way to go. You are not tempted to load it up with lots of un-necessary crap if you value every part.

Often the time taken to place each part as afforded allows time to make sure it goes in exactly right as well as there is not the rush and bust factor.
Good luck and keep at it.
