you would probably have to run the S13 inlet manifold .im pretty sure that the S14 manifold will hit the strut tower
and you will need a custom crossmember and a larger gearbox tunnel ,and depending on what cross member you use ,you may have to recess the fire wall to clear the head
i would go for CA as they fit in easyer and are abit lighter ,and you dont have to cut anything ,like the tunnel or fire wall

I'm busy fitting a SR20VE motor to a B110 1200.
Is it the same motor you want to fit?

* SR20VET -- 2 liter turbo is outside of regular engineering rules
* SR20VE -- no problem, just get the right mix of parts as already suggested

The so-called "VCT" was from S15 was it not? Nissan called it SR20DET.

The biggest issues with the VE is the manifold as mentioned as you only got the motor as a front wheel drive. Fit a set of throttles and it is sorted.
The VVL controller, thermostat housing and the dizzy sits at the back of the engine if mounted in RWD configuration, either use a crank pickup or the CAS of the 20V VE motor and relocate the controller and thermo. Or cut a hole in the firewall.
The last biggest issue is the gearbox, In my setup I'm using the S14 box and using a RWD upper oil pan, this enable you to use 4 bolts on the side and 4 bolts on the bottom to be in perfect alignment, RWD flywheel need to be machined down to enable the FWD starter to align with the ring gear.
And the antiroll bar is a issue, but the one from maddat for the sr20det conversion will work.
If you want some photos let me know?

Racetech, Why are you using a Fwd block? It is a common conversion to fit the VE head to a Rwd S13/14/15 block. You have to run a external oil line from block to head and thats it (there is a good write up and photos on how-to somewhere on the net) A bit of a mix and match with parts... and presto. Thermostat housing in the correct spot, all bolts for gearbox and correct mounting spots on block for engine mounts. Remote mounting of the VVL solenoids is required, The tricky part is running the oil pressure back into the head from the solenoids (My head is only 10mm off the firewall).
I am about to do this exact conversion.

These motors are quite expensive in SA, doing your mentioned conversion would have eding up buying a RWD and VE motor. Something which my wallet would moan at. The other thing I like about the VE block is that aparently has lighter internals, hlaf counter weighted crank, lighter rods and pistons for added rpm. Not to shure about it, but heard from a few ppl.
Other issue I have with VE head on RWD block is the fact that you open the motor, in my opinion when you open a motor you sort it out, meaning new pistons, rings etc. Will be fitting SR16VE Pistons the first time I open my motor.
