nice alpine setup, you'd want a good alarm lol. does the bass kill your arse or is it pretty insulated?

Cheers guys. The bloke before me had 6x9 holes cut in the door so i am just going to put another set in one in each door. As for the sub i think i will go alpine of some sort and place it behind the passanger seat beause i reallllllyyyyy need the room! haha. if i grow much more im going to need to ditch the ute and get a bigger car with more leg room. being 15 and having a few more years of growing :S haha. as for the headunit im thinking maybe a sony. but as for the amp im not so sure yet. :S this sound system could set me back about half the cost of what i brought the car for ahhhh hahahaha. Cheers guys will keep you posted. Will put some pics up once all is done and finished. :)

x2

I've only ever had 6.5" component speakers running of the headunit and I wouldn't even want anything more in the ute. Paid good money and got good quality. Focal speakers and an Eclipse headunit.

I wouldn't even buy things going of the brand. Go somewhere where you can listen to as many sets of speakers as you can cause what you think will sound good often won't.

Definitely a topic where quality over quantity rules. Buy good stuff first and you wont be needing huge subs and walls of speakers.
